Horten Ho 229 Flying Wing

The Horten flying wing was an innovative concept in aeronautics, designed by two relatively unknown brothers, Walter and Reimar Horten. What is truly amazing is that they came up with the delta-wing design in the 1930s. Although the two men faced a number of obstacles and opposition, they built and test flew the prototype in late 1944. Yes, it actually flew.

What followed is a truly remarkable story. However, what I’ve done is to adapt my novel by utilizing the Horten bomber, and weaving a fictional storyline around actual events and personages that lived in the late stages of WWII.

Allow me to introduce my novel, Stealth, which will catapult you into the mid 1940s, where you will encounter intrigue, suspense and danger. Follow the exploits of Jack Swaggart, an American pilot, shot down over Berlin. As he attempts to escape the clutches of the Gestapo, he encounters the Horten prototype in flight. Jack’s mission changes from escaping his pursuers to warning the Allies of the Horten’s development. Hot on his heels is a relentless Gestapo officer, determined to capture the flyer.
